Seriously, what's the point of getting 52 prayer actually? (mid-high pking)

 

If you have smite and you're fighting someone without smite, he'll ask you to turn it off or he'll run, mostly. >> 52 prayer wasted, money wasted, combat levels wasted.

 

If you have smite and you're fighting someone with smite, you'll both have smite on, which will even out the effects. Both your prayer will draw much faster. >> prayer pots wasted

 

If you don't have smite and you're fighting someone without smite. >> np.

 

If you don't have smite and you're fighting someone with smite, you'll ask him to turn it off. >> His extra combat levels wasted, profit for you.

 

This is the reason why I'm staying at 31 prayer for now. I must be extremely wrong because pretty much everyone has 52 prayer. Could someone please explain me what I'm missing?

Smite is great if you can use it against the opponent. Don´t know about the scene nowdays, but back in the days had over 300 pics with smited whip kills

yea i would say more for team fighting in high wildy

im getting 43 on my 1def, 44 is an extra combat level @ max or I would get 44.

So for 1v1 pking, at levels 1-10 it's useless?

You didn't actually mention the benefit of smite.

Use it to drain their prayer so that they are not meant to recognise it has gotten so low meaning protect item comes off etc

mostly for high level pkers trying to smite big loots at lower lvl you will only probally jsut smite a g maul haha

I feel like it adds a bit more pressure to the fight, as the prayer is draining faster, and if you forget about it for a split second you have a risk of losing your big ticket items ;)
