Disconnecting from runescape

Featured Replies

I've disconnected a lot. Lost my grace and punches :(

I was doing a bit of f2p pking on a barrows pure in progress, i DCed 4 times within about 20minutes risking a rune set each time XD fortunately i still somehow profited as only lost 2 of the rune sets.

My curiosity is due DDOSing - why is so effective? Why is it that virtually anybody can DDOS if they've been taught how to yet companies worth millions can't do anything to stop it. I don't know much about it so can't really give any criticism towards jagex but why is it that it seems to be runescape thats hit off so much? I haven't really seen games like DOTA LoL WoW going offline - why is runescape different? (i don't play these games either so not sure if theres a difference in the way servers are setup)

any information would be very interesting
