Can anyone explain to me how staking is affected by PID?

PID Is your Player identification and in 07 this is based off your ip. The person with the better PID will get the first hit and will have a better chance of winning the stake

Any idea how the PID is calculated based on IP?

Ok, so this is the theory and personally, I find it true after messing with a friend.

 

Lets say your IP is 111.111.176.34

 

The theory is you want the 3rd number divisible by 8, and the last number to be as low as possible. Hence this IP is optimal.

 

An IP such as 111.111.178.113 would be terrible.

 

 

Obviously these aren't real IPs...
