If I purchase this once I already have VIP will it just add onto my current VIP length?

I was wondering if you buy VIP does is automatically take the money for the next month? or do i just have to renew month to month?

P.S. Current VIP users were granted 10 extra days to their subscription automatically as a compensation for any experienced inconvenience.

It's saying 9.99 for me as well, trying to renew vip.
