VPS with REALVNC Help.

Featured Replies

Hello guys, I've tried to set up REALVNC with my VPS,

The problem is I keep getting this error when I try to connect to my vps through VNC viewer

"read: connection reset by peers"

and then I also get this from my anti-virus, not sure if it is any related.

pic removed, don't show your IP

Thanks for people that will be willing to help

my vps OS is windows.

Port 5900 is default port for VNC. And I assume the IP removed is the IP used by virtual machine.

The error means that a TCP RST was received and the connection is now closed. This occurs when a packet is sent from your end of the connection but the other end does not recognize the connection; it will send back a packet with the RST bit set in order to forcibly close the connection.

Try to allow that exception on your anti-virus or disable Anti-Virus and try again. Let me know if this helps.
