Today was my second day using any sort of script. Last night, I left a script on for range guild training and today, when I woke up, I was logged out from the bot and was in a very strange spot. I was at the top floor of lumbridge close to the bank. My inventory was in sort of a mess, with random items like Iban's Staff, Hell's Kitten and some noted Guam Leafs in my inventory. My beginning inventory started with about 400k, and 10k or so runes, but those are all gone. Under my equipment tab, I had also lost my archer's helm, but nothing else was taken. One more thing I noticed was that I had gotten no archery tickets, either that or it was all dropped.

 

EDIT: Just noticed that I lost a bunch of dragon bones and blue dragonhides as well.
 

EDIT2: Yep. Think I got hacked. I went into the GE history and found a lot of transactions that I did not do. My entire inventory was sold off and someone bought a bunch of flax and lumbridge tp tabs. Very strange though because I'm still wearing all my equips except for the archer's helm that they sold. My equips inside the bank are also more valuable than what they sold, but they chose not to take it.

EDIT3: Scanned my computer. No viruses. Strangest thing was that only staple items were taken from my bank, such as lobsters, feathers, bones, hides, etc, along with the things in my inventory. It was also strange that they used the money to buy flax after from the GE.

Have you downloaded anything else recently?

A script you have used through the SDN could not be malicious due to the vigorous testing it is put through before it is accepted.

Hm I don't recall clicking anything suspicious though. I lost items here and there, but some of my more valuable items are still in my bank.

No I have not downloaded anything else recently. I've used two scripts since I started: extreme agility and czar range guild. 

EDIT: Speaking of which, I had also added Account Starter to my list of scripts. I had never used it, however.

I don't think it's the account starter script due to the fact that I have used it on all 9 of my current accounts. And if you look, someone was just demoted yesterday for putting malicious stuff in their scripts trying to gain account info.

No. Nobody knows my password. Anyhow, even if we assume that my password was stolen, he/she shouldn't have been able to go into my account because my bot was still running. It would've said "Account is already logged in." etcetc

That is true, unless the bot had some form of error and ended up logging out. This is really strange.

I really doubt a bot would be able to go and sell bits of your bank, re-buy other items and exchange them with another player though.

Well. I just got home from school. Tried to log onto RS. It connected me for 5 seconds and then I got disconnected again. Apparently I got two day banned. Seems even more awfully strange to me now, because I've used both bots for less than 7 hours altogether, and they both had good reviews. Would it be difficult to make a bot  that take specific items (the staple items that I previously talked about) from the bank and sell it to the GE at a specific price (underprice so that it sells instantly) and then have it scripted to go to a specific place to trade a specific player? Seeing that a script for intelligent barrow botting is possible, I don't think this is too hard compared to the script for barrows right?

 

At the last few pages of the czar range guild script comments, there are also multiple users that talked about getting banned within a few hours. Possibly related? Or maybe I'm just going crazy.

Hope that clears it up. If you've stored your information with OSBot, then an infected script has most likely stole that file.

 

I normally don't run other people's script. I have before, but I did so without having any of my information stored with OSBot. Since then, I'm running nobody else's script except my own. Either that, or I'll simply play legit. I plan on overwriting that file and removing that file in the future.
