I heard theyre going to do a level boosting thing, im pretty sure they'll end up doing mounts. Idk what tf are they doing..

What the hell is level boosting

oh and mounts won't even work on runescape, it would change the entire traveling system. Each destination from x to y is made while thinking about walking/running speed of the player. If they added mounts the world would feel a lot smaller due to the ability to get around a lot faster without teleporting.
