Steel pickaxe - 6 mining required.

Mithril pickaxe - 21 mining required.

Adamant pickaxe - 31 mining required.

Rune pickaxe - 41 mining required.

Dragon pickaxe - 61 mining required.

 

Levels 1-15:

 

Copper/ Tin ore ( 120-140 ores )

 

Xp per ore: 17-18xp

Levels 15-45:

 

Iron ore ( 1,650-1,800 ores )

 

Xp per ore: 35xp

Levels 45-99 ( Faster than other ores/Powermine ):

 

Granite ( 230,000-250,000 )

 

Xp per mine: 50-70xp

You shouldn't mine granite until around 75 mining.

You could powermine iron but it just depends on what you prefer to do :p

 

OR you could go to the motherlode mine.

Nice guide, Maybe add some alternatives? cause being at Granite till 99 sounds boring as f :L and 100% no profit.

Maybe MLM? Or Actually Banking iron or something :D
