A user of a script of mine told me that he was doing fire cape for someone on an account that he had never botted on, and after a few hours (low range lvl) he was banned. He contacted a JMod who told him that you WILL get banned for simply being too long in specific locations, and added that "it won't take 4 hours to kill Jad". To me that sounds like they'll use similar reasoning for other spots. I'd guess those spots include activities that take a lot of concentration, such as ranging guild and sorceress garden, which have both been risky botting spots recently.

I have never heard anyone getting banned inside fight caves. Interesting find.

.. This wasn't specifically about fight caves.

Jmods wont make them selves look like idiots by saying "you WILL get banned for simply being too long in specific locations"  So I find this quite hard to believe

I don't know how the mod originally put it since I wasn't the one who had the conversation. How'd that make them look like idiots? Yes, I'm sure you have to be doing the activity itself, but I don't have any trouble believing they've implemented timed bans when it becomes obvious only (or mostly) a bot can be on for as long as you have.

Ok repeat it yourself with a location. If you power fish in barbarian village for 4hrs ( as your not banking and there's no need to leave an area) u will be banned. What bout powermining or woodcutting. Thanks for the heads up anyway but I doubt this is how they catch botters.
