Farmerfish Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Hey guys, i thought i'd share my progress with drawing within a 6 month period. I know i'm still not that great and i still have a long way to go but i think my lines have improved dramatically in this time and in comparison to some of my older drawings, would be very nice. i've decided to show an outline image for each of my older pictures, as well as the finished product. I am just posting my progress on line art, not painting in this thread. May 2014: September 2014: October 2014: Current:

idntbot Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I really like it. The lines have defiantly improved since your first drawing.
Farmerfish Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 Thanks guys, i appreciate your kind words. heading into 2015 i'm going to start doing little things like these in a more structured way on the forums. Example: Chibi cartoons for profile pictures, graphics/banners and personal drawing requests.
Dex Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Nice progress! I started drawing again a few days ago since I just found my wacom bamboo tablet back :p This is something I did today: http://i.gyazo.com/0784887f26aaab996d84167242d14c53.png I use paint tool SAI for the inking wich has a line stabilizer, I know it's a bit cheating but I can definitely reccommend it.

Cool cartoon style! I recently picked up paint tool SAI and it's by no means cheating. It is literally adobe flash but without animation functionality and dedicated for drawings instead. I used to use flash for my drawings because of the smoothing tool, but the stabilizer in SAI is far superior.
