Title says it all, I can't open osbot.jar on linus VPS. I get a bunch of files when double clicking. I have tried running "java -jar osbot.jar" on terminal but get this error:

 

Error: Unable to access jarfile osbot.jar.

You need to go to the location of the client by using cd, if its on your Desktop simply type:

cd Desktop

 

Then you can run it by typing:

java -jar osbot.jar

cd to the destination of your jar and use the following commands:

cd directory
sudo chmod 555 "osbot 1.7.x.jar"
java -jar "osbot 1.7.x.jar"

Type in the root password after the sudo chmod command, and then use your command to run it. You probably don't have the correct permissions on the file, the above command will let you set the permissions correctly for that file.

 

Also, little note but you probably just said "osbot.jar" for the ease of it, but the file isn't called "osbot.jar" .
