got aload of accounts that bot most hours of the day, most days of the week, i logged out 7 hours prior to logging back in,

i logged in one of my mules on the osbot client, it wasnt banned, it was as normal.

Went to start a script but before i clicked the script my acc logged out = ban,

I log in the rest of my accounts 1 by 1 through my browser and no bans, to me it was asif they detected that i logged in via osbot,

that may not be the case but he wasnt banned before i logged in, the account got the 2 day ban half the ban bar filled,

Yes, this is very weird.

Maybe they found a way to detect if account is logged in via osbot ? O-O'

It's impossible, we load the RuneScape canvas it's basically using the RuneScape client or webclient it's very undetectable.

Maybe it was just a coincidence that they banned you through the system right when you were about to start a script? If they could detect the client that would be a scary proposition

exact same thing just happened to me.. i logged in, and 10 seconds later, as i tried to start a script, i got banned. It is as if they detected something

i wasn't even botting, all i did was log in with client, and as i was setting up the bot, my char logged out. I didnt start the script all i did was stand there for 10 seconds

oh damn,,,  why does something like this always happen before something big gets released ;s   (party hats)

This is pretty scary sounding.

 

The way I understand it is the scripts that are written and used by all of us use "hooks" to latch on to the Runescape code in the background and interact with it. They may not have been able to detect if you log in with a client but they could have finally developed the technology to detect if any of their code has been latched onto by an outside source.
