my pc was updating and now it's stuck at we couldnt complete the updates undoing changes don't turn off your computer. I can't get jn to safe mode with F8 and shift key need help on this now it's been like this for about an hour

It's probably not stuck, it might just take a long time. I've definitely had this a few times before and in which cases I just turned it off and back on then tried to update it again.

If you have the Windows install disc, load it in and wait for it to boot off the CD, then when you're at the menu, choose 'repair computer'
