[somewhat off topic] taking computer science in school, and its a self taught class. Need a little help.

Featured Replies

I recently started taking computer science in school, its nothing to complex but i've been having trouble with remembering what were learning due to we learn by reading 100+ page chapters in one day. I'm managing but I would like to be able to keep up with what we'rre doing. In school we use the IDE jcreator, and that's what I currently have at home. any useful sites for good programming help would be great!

thank you for this, will definatly bookmark this and go to it whenever I need extra help.

and what are the differences? it's just the ide im farmiliar with.

None really for someone that won't be doing much besides printing lines to the console, no offence :p

IntelliJ just has a (in my opinion) easier on the eyes UI, extremely helpful intellisense and easy integration with things like Android and Maven.

It's the truth though laugh.png  all we've done is make constructors for a bank account that we could type b1.deposit(500); and it will record it lol.

and i'll take a look at it, only reason I like jcreator is just because it's what I can use at school.

There's many Java IDE's, you could also look at two other pretty popular ones Eclipse and Netbeans :)
