Injection or reflection

Featured Replies

Basically what is the difference? Ive seen some other botting websites where they use reflection because it is more "undetectable" or something like that and more undetectable then injection? is that true...

Also this might be in the wrong section

The reason OSBot does not use reflection is because it's slower and wastes more resources (both CPU & memory). To counteract the issue of detectability, OSBot modifies your JVM files to filter out the injections so that they are impossible to detect within the RuneScape client. Therefor I stand by my opinion that injection is the better technology when used properly. Other injection bots however may not have these safety precautions.

Ah okay thanks! But why are people complaing about getting banned? isn't there anything that can be done?

Getting banned has to do with what skill you bot, the script you use (build in anti-ban) and how long you bot it at a time. So if you're botting yews for like 6 hours straight, you'll have a high chance of getting banned. Mostly gold farmers will be banned, because they use scripts that will generate coins to RWT them (which is not allowed).

So its the client which is undetectable, and the amount of hours which are put in to what ever you are botting?

Both Injection/Reflection are detectable, the best thing you could possibly do noise/disturb runtime information sent to servers which in itself is saying, "I'm probably a bot but you can't prove it" kind of situation which isn't all to great anyway.

The whole FUD ideas that are being thrown to the customers by many bots it's mostly bollocks and unfair to tell people who lack the knowledge to get the impression that they're undetectable. My general opinion is to give the customers best of both worlds, users to choose between reflection and injection. Bot farms will want to use injection anyway as they know their accounts lifespan is way too short and inefficient to use for reflection
