Fight caves is the worst place for pures to train magic using curse. Hits way tooooooo often.

 

What def level do most people have when they are there training magic?

i have 1 def, wearing full iron + staff.

If you want to completely splash, you need to wear full metal armor (including kite), but also Vambs and chaps (instead of platelegs).

are you botting it or actually doing it? I used to go and curse mice in varock sewer. they hit 0 no matter what and you can get a stack of like 10 of them trying to kill you and you can just keep casting on them. for 1 def i say get iron boots and full iron with ranged vamps obsidian cape as well

The bottom method is what i would use except i would also use a md battlestaff still if you plan on having 30+ Attack because not having to buy earth and water runes will save you tons of money while getting to level 99 magic and this method is supposed to be all about saving you money.

I have full iron on. I guess I gotta get some vambs... 1 range :'(

Botting. I am cursing Tz-Kek in fight caves. Time to get iron boots. Did not know obsidian cape reduces magic.

 

Vambs and obsidian cape don't lower magic attack bonus. The iron boots didn't really help. Still hitting too hard. I guess I need some range levels.

You'd need higher level vamps. Black vamps reduce it by -10, and snakeskin boots (Which reqs def) does around the same.
