pRoded
Idk if this is the place for this kinda thing. Guess I'll find out. I live in one of the more rural parts of my city. That being said my neighborhood is gifted new pets all the time. It's a sad thing to see. But most of these cats and dogs find a new home. Cat's more often then not end up at my house. My mom is an avid cat lover. So there are like 5 cats my mom regularly feeds and takes care of. They've all been fixed, get shots, that kinda thing. Well today I woke up and there was a rancid smell coming from outside. I could tell it was something dead but I figured it was going to be a raccoon or a part of a deer(not uncommon where I live). I walk outside to look for the source of the odor and I follow it to the basement window well. This isn't the first time I've had the pleasure of taking dead animals out of here and I'm sure it won't be the last. I'm expecting one of my dogs to have found themselves a wild animal, again, maybe a opossum or raccoon. I look into the window well and sure enough. Its my kitty. I'm not a cat fan but this was definitely my favorite of the group. When you held her she would hold you back like a baby. Wrapping her arms around your neck. It was the oddest yet cutest thing. She won't be doing that anymore. My mom obviously didn't want to have any part of moving. So I took it to the end of the property and buried it. I'm sad. Edit: I probably won't be replying to anything in here. Just wanted to get it off my chest. Edited August 20, 2014 by pRoded

Varc
horrible thing losing a pet man, literally are part of the family. My mum is the same she actually volunteers at a cat sanctuary rehoming abandoned cats. Rest in peace to the little guy
