Timekeeper Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Computer-UltraSharp-UP2414Q-23-8-Inch/dp/B00HALPPM0 Damn, here is one at 18% of $4000 Looks like I get a 2% better discount than you, sup son.
bushhy Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 whats the reserve set at? $350, which is reasonable i say, since the monitor is $1k
TwitchFast Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 4K is a bad idea right now anyway, I wouldn't pay $500 for that given the requirements to run games nicely, not to mention Windows looks like crap with 4k.

I mean i only paid 20% of the monitors reg price lol 24" ugh I was hoping 30+ To be honest, its plenty big. I would work with Photoshop on it, and trust me, you dont need anymore 4K is a bad idea right now anyway, I wouldn't pay $500 for that given the requirements to run games nicely, not to mention Windows looks like crap with 4k. On a radeon 7970, i was pulling 300 frames on CSGO, max settings, at 4k. Didnt seem to be a problem.

CSGO isn't a demanding game in the slightest, that's like playing League of Legends. I have a 780 Ti and I wouldn't even consider gaming at 4k, you'd be looking at medium if not lower settings. 1

Which BF4 looks smooth over 30 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Computer-UltraSharp-UP2414Q-23-8-Inch-Screen-LED-Lit-Monitor-6X55C-/221497132870?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item3392420746 $550 And that is why my reserve is at 350. I would be happy to sell at 350-400

I'm not going to trust that, if my card averages 37, there's no way yours would get over 50.

TwitchFast Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I dont know, from what fraps tells me my frames are around 50 In which case I wouldn't trust fraps, not even the 7990 (dual 7970 card) can pull off 50 fps on ultra at 4k. The point being that 4K requires you to dump a huge amount into your graphics card setup otherwise you won't achieve nice framerates.
Anaesthetic Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Thats some nice flipping you've done there. I wouldn't purchase a 4k monitor at the moment anyways. I'm waiting for them to go down considerably in price, then I'll purchase one. Until then I have my 1080p plasma screen sitting in my basement that works fine
