Currently signatures can have a image size of 600 x 600 this is this big:

That's way to big is everyone on the forums had a signature that big than pages would take forever to load. Also there can be UNLIMITED IMAGES that means that someone could have 10 of them images. I feel signatures should be VIP only gives it an edge. I hate seeing massive signatures all the time.

Support. Hate it when pages become 5 times as long due to large signatures.
