Client Won't Open

Featured Replies

EDIT: Resolved. Added valid Xmx and Xms arguments.. The problem was that the JVM couldn't reserve enough space for object heap during initialization. I also had to change the memory allocation on the loader.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On linux machine, I am unable to open the client. After executing the .jar, the loader pops up, I then click "Launch" and nothing happens (client doesn't appear).

Java version:

(I've also tried uninstalling 1.7.0_65, and installing 1.7.0_60 to no avail. I have another vps with identical OS/configuration which has java 1.7.0_60 installed, and I am able to fully open the client on it.)

The OSBot folder is created with the files missing, however the sub-folder "Data" contains "filter_c4c496e7.jar" <.<

I have tried deleting the OSBot folder and trying again, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling java, etc.

I'm thinking this is a relatively simple fix, so if someone could please inform me it would be much appreciated.

Have you tried to re-download the jar off of our forums?

I have 0 experience with Linux, so I can't help much :(
