Featured Replies

hi i just got a new laptop and tried to download and run osbot on it and every time after i download it, it tries to extract it because it is a jar file however none of the programs can detect it/extract it. i do but whenever i open it, it take me to unzip it, this never happened on my computer either lol.. and i just installed windows 8.1 so maybe that had affected this?

Wait do you have java installed ? Since it's a new computer there's the possibility that it's not there.

When having it installed, right click the jar and choose "open with > java"

Tell me if this worked please.

Go to control panel -> programs

look if you have java, if it's java version 8, download java 7 update 60 or Lower

if you do have it installed, what does it open with? winrar?

You should get this. DO NOT BROWE FOR JAVA.EXE AND OPEN IT WITH THAT. it will result in it opening with command prompt and it is useless. uninstall and install java, or post here if nothing worked at all

The first 3-4 months i was a leecher, and after that i came to the forums, and from that time i have always been helping people out whenever i can, look at my post count, and everything i post today what you call "shit" is in the spam section which doesn't give any post count
