1. What is the issue? I am not currently running any bots but I am still getting VIP Required. I load the client, start a new instance of RuneScape. This instance gets anywhere from Loading to Logged in for 2 minutes. Then the instance shuts down and gives me the attached error.

2. When did this start happening? It happened all the way back in ~1.7-1.9 (generally after my internet connection dropped) but a system restart/waiting 5-10 minutes would clear the issue. 2 days ago my connection dropped and this is when this (seemingly permanent) issue had begun happening again and I have not been able to use the bot since.

3. Additional questions. Is there anything else you need?

I think it is just an orphaned session on your servers (if you guys store that information) and hopefully it can be wiped out.

In the screenshot I opened 2 instances of RuneScape, both where closed, below is the log output of my client.

In theory, we can get around this by changing your login name, if you wish.

I thought that issue was fixed? If that is the only way, sure thing. Can I have "Faye"?

Well, it's the only way I can think of fixing this issue.

Changed for now. Maybe Laz can shed some light on this

yeh me and another had this issue some time ago, after a while it went away.

Tried this before, this doesn't resolve the issue.

Thank you for the quick response/resolution but it seems that it didn't fix the issue.

The only thing you can do is try to restart the client when you're getting the error until it's gone, sorry for the inconvenience! :)

I believe a fix is:

Go to a new computer

Load up the bot

Log in and start a new client and play for 10 minutes

Go back to original computer with new turned off

Should be fixed (did it for me)

If this ^ doesn't work (didnt for me) try this

So I reset my router -- pulled the plug and waited 15 seconds and replugged it. Now it is working fine! I'm pretty sure this is the fix!

I don't believe it has anything to do with the network connection.

I have the error again. :/

I fell asleep botting last night and my laptop shutdown out of power. So probably leaving a session idle on their server. I grab my laptop (dead) go into work. Start it up, try to run the bot, get the same error (obviously different network). This makes me believe it is not a one account error it is a computer error. I made an extra account because I couldn't log into this one for the forums. I tried to bot on that account just to see if it worked, and it did not fix the issue --see screenshot.

By the way to any mod reading this, if you wouldn't mind deleting "Fay v2" I would appreciate it.

So the error is a local machine error.

What OS are you guys running? I am using Windows 7 Enterprise x64.

A temporary solution would be to use another computer or boot up a VM on your current machine. I am using ubuntu 14.04 right now to run it and I have no problems but when I try to use the host machine, it fails.
