Impassive
It's really not far. So to me, yes it's in the middle east and many journalist classify it as that. Middle-east infact is the most deadly place in the world. Have you ever been there?
Aloha
Have you ever been there? No and I will never go. The hell I look like putting my life in danger when I see countless amounts of innocent civilians and Americans being killed over beliefs. Look at my list of top dangerous places. 7. Peshawar, Pakistan 6. Sana’a, Yemen 3. Baghdad, Iraq 1. Kabul, Afghanistan Source: http://zeenews.india.com/slideshow/world-s-most-dangerous-cities-top-10_49.html Edited July 18, 2014 by Koviak
Mackadizzle
RIP to all those people, shame to see this being shot down. Exactly why I am scared to travel anywhere near the middle-east. How does this have anything to do with the middle east?
Aloha
How does this have anything to do with the middle east? My point was very clear, not only this area where tensions are high, but the surrounding areas itself (ex. the middle east which isn't far from Ukraine) could also have such repeated events like this. This here comes to me as no surprise. Edited July 18, 2014 by Koviak

Man, I have been to Iraq several times. I went to a different city than Baghdad though. You'd be surprised to know how safe it is. I'm getting thoughts that you perceive these places to be full of terrorists running around with bombs and machine guns. You know what's funny? How we're discussing Iraq in a topic about Ukraine. But of course, it involves a plane and crashing, so let us bring up the middle-east. I've lived in Canada for 10 years, and I'm 17. But, I find myself fortunate to know both sides of the story when it comes to this. I feel sorry that you are using online sources/media to dictate your perception on places like these. I went to Iraq a few years ago. I didn't see one person killed over beliefs. I saw poor people, and more importantly, I saw so many people helping the poor. This is something I seldom see where I live now. I'm not here saying Iraq is a great place and is better than Canada. I'm just saying, it's kind of sad to be so certain of something you have never experienced.

Aloha
That's like saying Canada is in Mexico -.- Oh yes because the distance on a distorted map is definitely that close. Your logic is horrible. Anyways, my perception of those areas were from research and studies not internet sources. Numbers never lie. /Done with that But yeh, second Malaysian jet that has lost 200+ passengers? Edited July 18, 2014 by Koviak

Did you really just say the middle east is the most deadly place in the world? and your perception of those areas that made you come to that conclusion is from what? lmao the news? Countries in africa top the "danger" in the middle east in almost every way. But africa doesnt really have as much as an impact on world affairs as much as the middle east does, so we dont hear about it

Distance from Canada (Windsor) to Mexico (Ciudad Acuna) = 2,516.8 km Distance from Ukraine (Torez, location of the crash) to Iraq (Baghdad) = 2,477 km And this year is terrible for plane crashes.
