will rs get f2p

Featured Replies

so after 2 weeks of f2p i tried logging in again in rs and it said i needed make member didnt they add f2p or is it per account just 2 weeks

You may need to create another account, there are some rumours around that f2p trial will stay longer but IDK.

It is correct that every new account made will get 2 weeks free trial of OSRS for awhile longer.

However on your account the 2 weeks has ended, therefore go buy a membership.

Or you can start over again. I'd rather pay $7 to expand the game by miles, its fairly cheap for the amount of hours you'll put into the game and can be enjoyable if you do it right.

I was upset as well when it told me to subscribe :(

I believe f2p isn't official, yet.

Created an account yesterday & got two weeks free trial. So it's still in effect for new accounts but at this time you still need to either subscribe or lose your OS access after two weeks :(

I just wish they released f2p like normal.

2weeks only

Don't bump up all the old thread just cause 100 posts is necessary for you.

You can play free for 14 days but it has to be a new account. It's in trail period at the moment, but when it's done hopefully we get free to play.. regardless if it's a new account or not. The player community is small.

even if there would be f2p, making a f2p pure in there is annoying, so better get this f2p pure member and complete waterfallquest and quickly get stats at rock crabs, will take few days and there u go, f2p pure ready, yeah it would be good if f2p access would be permanent, but there still could be a time where u should buy atleast once membership to speed things up.

Making a pure has nothing to do with it. It most likely won't go f2p fully because of bots.

F2P probably won't become fully f2p because of the botting, no-risk gold farms with endless accounts? The economy will turn to shit faster then rs3's.
