Just an update on this, in order to splash you need a -68 magic bonus, if you are a 1 def pure you are not able to use a staff if you don't have access to gear with enough negative bonuses, therefore making this method impossible/extremely difficult

IDK how you wouldn't be able too since you just need full iron + metal boots/security area boots + vambraces

Makes prices of runes go alot higher and the price of the battlestaff :/

Only died 3 times so not that bad from 79 mage to 94!
