Many other sites have the forums account hooked up with the client account. I hope we can figure out away around this so if the site goes down, we can still have access to the client.

Yes, however validating new premium scripts will always need a connection once when bought.

So, are you saying that there will be scripts put on the client? Is there a way to put premium scripts on the client when you buy them, but make them so you cant read them? or encrypt them of sorts? There for you wouldn't need to connect to the site. Idk , just adding thoughts
