is f2p coming out on 07?

yes, Mod Mat K mentioned that in the Stream.

At the moment they are focusing on botters, he said they will start to discuss soon about F2p and will probably be out in 3-4 weeks.

If you're waiting for 'LoL' to die out, I'm afraid you'll be waiting a lifetime.

Mate i said start dieing out,

I Mean everyone use to game call of duty or runescape and you get bored of playing the same games.

Mate you watch LOL will start to die once it hits its peak. Every game does and LOL could be the most repetitive game ive ever played.. Trust me its so fukn boring played it for 6 months and quit for life i hate the game.

People said the same about 'World Of Warcraft', it doesn't have as many as its peak but it still has millions of players and has been around for god knows how many years now and still going strong. Also, with the release of EVERY new expansion comes millions of new players and old players who quit during the previous expansion.

I've played League Of Legends and World Of Warcraft for years, and neither of them are going anywhere, anytime soon.

Runescape, even in it's prime, has NEVER even come close to matching the user base of WoW and LoL,there is also a huge gap between the profit made by Blizzard and Riot in comparison to Jagex; which limits their advertising and funding for expansion.

Oldschool will continue to last, but the player-base will ALWAYS remain low, the amount of players that tried it when it was first released will be the highest amount that Runescape 2007 will ever achieve; since Jagex doesn't advertise or have a huge market scheme to resurrect more players.

runesape won't die out.

No one quits for ever.. only for a few month/year and then comes back and is more addicted than b4.

omg from this friday become F2P osrs?ohmy.png
"We've been notified by /u/ModMatK that an announcement regarding F2P in OSRS is coming this Friday - he will confirm this in the comments himself.

This is great news, it's good to see F2P for OSRS becoming more & more likely."

^ This.

I'm in a pure clan myself and 80% of people that have quit before 2k13 are all returning with the announcement of Clan Wars & f2p.

I'm not saying it's going to disses pear It will peak then begin to drop and those players dropping could go to runescape or wow or quit gaming either way it will happen
