Java Support

Featured Replies

When will Java be supported? I don't even know why Groovy was added, looks messy, difficult to script with and quite unknown by many people. My groovy plugin keeps crashing, can't even script for 10 minutes without that happening.

So yea...when will java be supported?

Oath. Groovy seems so messy compared to Java; it feels like a dirty cross over from mSL :\

Groovy has the Java syntax with more options, what's so hard about using it ??? You sound worse than those people who say they can program 508's but can't program 562's.

I just don't like it, and it crashes me...read above.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others don't. It's a change from most other bots that are in java but really it's 95% similar. If you're a decent scripter then it's not hard to change.

-.- I can't use the groovy plug-in, I don't know how to change the jar to allow java and Laz said it'll be supported soon, just want to know when.

Why do you need to use the groovy plugin? Open up a notepad save as a groovy.

both Lazero and Maxi have stated several times in IRC that they will work on Java support "in the future". As to when it will actually be added, it just depends when they get around to it. :)
