No this a nation wide test in the US. 

 

It's from collegeboard and can be used for college credit if you get a high enough score on the exam.

 

Hardly any colleges accept it as credit so you end up taking the course again aps just make your transcript look better tbh

Every college I'm looking into in Texas accepts it.

Took AP Language last year. Just finished my AP Stat today, and now I'm just waiting for my AP Micro & Macro.

AP Exams are for Sophomores in high-school + here. 

So 16 - 18? The fact everyone has a different education is confusing
