qarielq
I noticed I have been leaving my laptop on for weeks, is it safe, or is there a chance it might overheat and explode or something? Srs qn.
zaros784
You might restart it and find out you downloaded a malicious program that is now added to your programs on start up.. Which may make it not start up correctly. Other than that, no. You're just lowering the life expectancy of your laptop because it's running and the parts and getting worn out due to leaving it on all the time. Cinnamon
I left my laptop on and used it as my own personal VPS for a week and a half and nothing seemed to happen, no overheating, ect. I just dimmed my screen off.
