Greetings OSBot members. This is a list of all the problems I am currently aware of, and how to fix them!

1. 

 

Q: I am stuck on signing into the client, I can't click the sign in button on the top right/I can't type my username and password in.

A: You're most likely using a very old version of Java, updating it should make the problem go away. To get the latest version of Java: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

 

2.

 

Q: I get a grey screen after returning to the bot after a certain amount of time

A: This is a problem with your computers current specification, most likely due to a low amount of random access memory (RAM) or your computer is just built up of junk. To free computer memory run regular disk-defragments, CCleaner, and delete unnecessary programs and start up files.

Q: I've checked out with a script from the repository and it hasn't show up in my premium/free script tab

A: Be sure to hit refresh in the bottom left of that open interface, and make sure you're signed into the account on the client, as the one you purchased the scripts on the forum!

 

4.

 

Q: My local scripts aren't showing

A: You most likely have one or more outdated/corrupt scripts. To determine which ones are corrupt, please remove all of them from your script folder and make a backup of them. Put one in and check if it loads, if it doesn't remove that script and put another one in. Until you eventually have all the working scripts in your folder.

Q: The client won't open

A: Make sure you have the latest version of java installed.

 

6.

 

Q: My client still won't open with the latest version of Java installed!?

A: Not to worry, sometimes OSBot doesn't support the latest version of java, so if a java update made the bot stop working, please revert back to your previous Java version.

 

7.

 

Q: How do I add local scripts?

A: On windows, go to Computer > C:/users/(your name)/OSBot/scripts and place the downloaded file(s) into there.

thanks we needed one of these, but current java(Java 7u25) isn't supported on 1.7.10
