ReaLife Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 So yesterday i was playing call of duty with a few friends and we were playing league play, and during a game, me and two of my friends were kicked offline and my family lost wifi power as well, i went through and reset the router, and now when i try to sign into xbox live, a screen comes up saying "IP error" it tells me to reset router for 30 secs, and I did. If anyone else has ever had this happen before, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could help me out. thanks
Smart Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I've personally experienced this, after resetting my router and Xbox a few times I re-gained access again.

ReaLife Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 I'm not being DDoSed anymore, it's fixed but i can't get on XBox live, i tried configuring my netowrk, by manually entering my IP adress, DNS value, gateway, subnet mask. it did not work.

I suggest setting your xbox network settings to automatic, to allow your router to supply the correct IP configuration.
Mind Tricks Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 OP you should use an xbox live VPN, search the internet, It will ddos your vpn if they try it but not kick you out of the game.

If it's DoS attack you could try to get this guy's IP-address and report it to your internet provider.Or just contact you provider, they probably can see proof of the attack from the logs.
