I agree with the 'everyone should be helpful' thing, this seems like a 'I do a good thing, and I want everyone to know I did it' kinda thing

But then again, if somebody did have a problem, instead of going in the chat and spamming, they could PM a support person

I guess it's a +1 for me laugh.png

great point, alot of people come in the chatbox asking for help and they get trolled on

Cata, brings up a very good point, but this rank wouldn't/ shouldn't be like a mod, it just to  recognize  someone that knows what there talking about. this rank wouldnt have these admin/mod powers and theres always times that a mod/admin isn't online

@botrs123 its not like you don't use your rank to you benefit, this rank would not be easy to achieve ofc, but your statement doesn't make sense because, because everyone uses there ranks to there own benefit, regarding the too many ranks, osbot is kinda known for that the vase amount of ranks, from scripts and programming, to market, and even design, so why not continue that

I really don't use my rank to my benefit at all. I never brag about being an OSD or use it to my advantage. If I do or did, please show me where.

No rank is easy to achieve, except the paid awards. Not everyone uses their rank to their benefit, but you can say the majority does.

The only ranks that I consider extra are some of the paid ranks. Though they are known for it, it doesn't mean they should keep on adding ranks.

That is what I think. I am not saying my thoughts are absolute.

that's what i meant sorry the majority of people use there rank to there benefit didn't mean to call you out individually, and i personally dont see a problem with adding more ranks, not overload it with ranks but it wouldn't hurt

I've seen this done before on a different forum and the rank was called 'Assistant'.

Turned out to be pretty useless, as most regular client users, script writers and moderators could answer the questions and it just lead to low quality responses from people who held the rank. It also meant that you would see people posting the same answer reworded after a solution was already posted.

It was ultimately removed, so it's a no from me.

I personally wouldn't support the rank being introduced, however, I will make sure to become more active in certain sections that may be lacking assistance.

Thank you for your suggestion.

the mods have spoken i guess its a no go
