Error with Osbot.jar file

Featured Replies

When I download the .jar file and attempt to run I get an error;

Error: Invalid or corrupt jarfile osbot.jar

I have redownloaded the file over 10 times and still no luck!

This can be due to a few reasons:

  • Your internet connection is having issues stabilising thus causing the download to stop. Once the download has stopped and is unable to contine, you will then receive the "Network Error" error. You will then have to repeat the process in an infinite loop.

  • If the above happens and you manage to download the client, the client will most likely come up with a corrupt jar message such as:

  • The OSBot servers are under heavy DDoS attack and are unable to allow other users to connect to the main domain where the OSBot download file is held, you will need to wait until OSBot is secure and ready for users to download.

  • You have a program IE: Antivirus or Firewall blocking the download between your computer and the OSBot servers.

Example:

If you have Norton as an anti-virus, It is most likely the reason OSBot will not connect. You need to turn off the "Smart Firewall" for it to connect.

Hopefully this helps. Regards,

Thank you so much for the reply, helped me to determine the most likely causes of my downloads being faulty. I believe due to my horrid internet, most likely my downloads have all failed or been effected by the previous failed download. I've been attempting to fix this for a day now, and do you know of any way that could help me get my OSbot up and running?

Once again thank you for your reply, DS
