Support abortion.

 

There are many reasons I support it, a few/quite a few of them have been mentioned on this thread already so I don't feel the need to state why. The babies not developed enough for me to consider it murder however, I would classify it murder if someone else killed the undeveloped child as the parent may have wanted the baby.

I fully support it, and I cannot explain how much I support it honestly.

 

Being British, I can state that Britian is quite populated, not only with smaller houses, but smaller lands and what have you. Now, the majority of people having children are young adults and teenagers, purely because they're either irresponsible, or they want to claim of the state. I don't want to be taxed, and have that money go towards immature, and irresponsible young people, who aren't grateful and are inconsiderate. Thankfully, the ones which are irresponsible, want to enjoy their lives, and enjoy going out with friends and what not, so they choose to have an abortion. The ones which want to claim off the state, I believe should be culled.

 

On that note, Does anyone believe Human culling should be allowed? I do, based on intelligence and decency of the person.

I believe that abortion should be fully illegal, even though it conflicts with my religious views, but only with certain circumstances.

If you're a slutty girl who likes to sleep around and ends up getting pregnant, tough shit, you should have to deal with your mistake. If you can't handle it, you should still have to go through the struggles of a pregnancy & child birth to teach you a lesson, even if you're going to give it up for adoption.

If you're raped, you do not in any way shape or form deserve to have to deal with your rapist child growing inside of you, and eventually giving birth to it. 

Not everything has to be so black and white.

That punishment is fair on the girl being a slut, however very unfair on the child being brought into the world un-wanted from day 1.

 

Shouldn't use an innocent child in order to punish a whore.

 

I don't think it's anyone elses business what a women does with her body.  How I've always felt about it.

If you don't want the kid you can just put it up for adoption. If you got raped, why does your kid deserve to die? It is not the kids fault you got raped he deserves a chance at life like anyone else.

Man this world has enough poverty and over population, abortion wasn't widely except in the past, but after bubonic plauge wipe out so many people the pope made big deal and banned abortion and contreception from the chruch. The government was tied to the governent so it became law. For good reason we needed more humans. Now there are plenty of humans if not too many. It may be morally negative to destroy a fetus but i believe it is the womans choice. Why make an laws like that, just more limitations holding us back.. It just seems pointless to me. In my opinion it is a necessary evil that doesn't effect us in a negative way. Laws are not the answer people will do what they will do any way, at least give them safe way to do it...

All the arguments that have been given thus far against it can mostly be summed as such: By having an abortion you are robbing a possible child of its future life. Yet what most of you fail to realize is that everyone is doing this all the time, even you. For ever sperm or ovum that is released and does not become a child you are robbing a possible child of its future (under the same logic that by having an abortion, which yes, is also the removal of undeveloped cells, is robbing a child of its future). So if you are truly against abortion then you should be getting pregnant or impregnating others at every possible opportunity. Furthermore, it suggests a society where women should be treated as nothing more than "baby makers" as if they aren't bearing children then we are robbing possible children of their futures. This, for obvious reasons, is not how society should function. Humans, both male and female, should have full control and decision making over the cells in their own bodies and should be able to decided whether or not they want to develop those cells into a child. As such, abortion should be allowed.

@Marcel I'm sorry but plain and simple you are an idiot.  Who cares if these aren't the stone ages... They probably still felt awful when a baby of there's died so your point is not valid.  And to those of you who think that a baby in the first stages is just "tissue" you are terribly mistaken... Think of it this way... there are only four ways the unborn differ from toddlers, but many toddlers and other born humans differ in exactly the same ways. So how can we justify killing the unborn on these grounds, when we protect born humans who have the same deficiencies?

I agree with abortion. I don't need a reason to. We're all entitled to our beliefs and views, it just so happens that I view a fetus that doesn't have a beating heart as just a lump of cells, thus giving you around a month to get the abortion. (I don't know why but the beating heart's a deal breaker for me, once that thing is pumping that babies there to stay.)
