Alright, I work for a landscape company from 8-4 and we just started doing door to door sales last week from 4-8. I have a script that I wrote for when I talk to someone which you can read below this. My dilemma is I want to perfect it and get as many "Yes" answers than "not interested"

 

 

Hello Mr/Ms _________, I am Dan from Weed Man Lawn Care. How are you today?

 

That's great, let me start by saying I am not here to sell you anything. What we are doing today is going door to door offering you and your neighbors a free, no obligation lawn care estimate. If you are interested what we do is my boss will measure your yard VIA satellite and give you a call within 24-48 hours with your estimate.

 

Okay, the only thing that I need from your is the best number to contact you at and becasue of the "Do Not Call List" we need you to sign or initial in this box.

This script has been getting me 2-7 "yes" per day out of a contact rate of around 20. but my buddie that works with me is getting 7-15 a day. I want more, I know it is possible. Lets see if you can better my script and post your suggestions below. Serious replies only please.

There's more to being a good salesman that having a great script that you can repeat to every person. You need to be more interactive with your customer, talk them up a bit before moving in for the kill.

Tell them their lawn is ugly and u can fix it
