Is it me, or is the API all over the place?

 

For example, if I want to talk to an npc with id 693 do I do

 

Npcs.getNearst(693).interact("Talk-to")

client.getLocalNPC(693).interact("Talk-to")

selectEntityOption(closestObject(693), "Talk-to", "Judge")

 

Just having a hard time going through the API, are there any open source scripts available?
