If you get caught booting is your IP automatically flagged? and if so how long is it flagged for?

There is huge arguments around this! Some say that if it is not a gold farming ban then it is not flagged! I personally have not had a gold farming ban but I have had plenty of major macroing bans and am still using same VPS without a ban

i don't think so...i botted my main pre eoc for like 2 years straight..got like 10 99s by botting and only got banned once for 2 weeks for botting flax

But anyways, realized it was a typo, and no I have gotten banned botting back in June. Its been almost 10 months, and im still not banned (hope that doenst jinx it). My IP has changed since everytime I reset my router it changes, but honestly if Jagex really wanted to flag you they do it in .dat files.
