2 day ban vs perm ban

Featured Replies

Hi just wondering the consistency of 2 day ban vs perm ban. I realize anything gold farming is automatic perm but wonder if botting combat on a veteran account always results in a 2 day ban at first offense. Please comment your input.

I botted on an account from 2004, 20 99's in rs3 and got perm banned on first offence.

From what I've seen, rs3 bans are usually a lot harsher and quicker to find. However, on 2007, there have been many two day bans instead of permanent. I guess two day bans are warnings. I'm not sure about the risk of bans for combat and gold farming, but I'd say they're about the same.

Sometimes you get 2 day ban then perm ban, but sometimes perm ban comes first.

What do you mean it comes first? That's the only thing that comes, if you get a perm ban, you're done, end of story lol.

i have a main account with two 99s and over 105 combat and was 2 day banned for OSRS

I've had 2 accounts perma banned first offence doing nmz

Personally I've only gotten banned once, on a 2007 made account with 5 99s in rs3 and only got banned for 2 days. I was killing yaks. I think the difference is that if you're on a veteran account/only botting 1 acc under a single ip then you get a 2 day ban first offense, since it is macroing minor.

Well no offense but that wasn't really smart. Everyone knows that using autoclicker is easily detectable since jagex can detect the exact same interval between clicks. No anti-ban = instant ban.

2 day bans?

I've received 2 day bans (even received week long and year longs bans) but they were called Bot Busting.

Bot Busting is when a Jagex employee manually bans you in the game, i.e. was playing and caught you botting.

If it was Macroing Major, that means you were caught by the 'system' that Jagex has for banning bots.

i would keep botting to a minimal at the moment on any account, Jagex seem to be on a serious crackdown on bots atm, especially since they have introduced new worlds not on the server list where bots/suspected bots are transferred to for closer monitoring. Then again luck plays a big part.

got perm ban while notting at mage training arena. that could be considered combat and money making though
