North Korea goverment gives permission...

Featured Replies

Hi there boys and girls if you live in the US or the UK you have probably seen over the last few weeks that North Korea is sending out threats to the south and the US. I would like to discuss the possibility of north Korea actually launching an attack again the US or south Korea. My own personal opinion looking quickly at the situation is that they would have to be stupid to nuke the US as it would cause world war 3. You have to think that a nuclear bomb doesn't just destroy the area it was dropped on but thousands of miles around the explosion is affected by the radiation and aftershock. I think its genuinely terrifying how easily a nuke could be deployed and how words of war can easily become acts of war. North Korea have deployed warships to the east coast of the country and South Korea have deployed anti missile warships to the same area. The US have deployed an anti missile system so they must be taking it seriously. Just thought id like to discuss your opinions on the subject. :)

I hope to spark a good discussion about personal opinions.

DO NOT judge others on there opinions here i dont want to hear it. Do NOT break the law or forum rules here by making racist remarks or anything that may offend anyone. Not cool. That said please post what you think about the above paragraph :)

I think this won't start a world war 3 due to America having wars with other country's like Syria I don't see why a world war would start if North Korea can't agree with America.

They wont do shit, they have been threatening the world for years, they haven't done a shit yet.

I highly doubt they'll do anything. Then again, I wouldn't put it completely past them. The North Korean society, from what I know, is one of honor and respect. I heard from some source that they (the US) think North Korea's leader Kim Jung-Un is merely showing that if necessary he will do what he needs to do for his country. Another theory is that he was being looked down upon by his peers that are in high authority positions and he has to prove himself. Now on to the topic of actual warfare. I think it's ludacris at best if they were to launch a nuclear attack anywhere around them. Their best missle deployment system will only have about a 1800 mile radius, which although close, I don't think will touch any of the United States. Due to that they only have South Korea, Japan, China, and the wastelands of Russia to attack. With the anti-missle system that have been deployed around the area the nuke's target would doubtfully get touched. If they were to attack South Korea it wouldn't be the best for them for multiple reasons. A large percentage of their GDP would be taken out since they trade with South Korea as one of their primary trades and it would also be an act of war with most of the World. Since the United States is large allies with South Korea, the US will wage war on North Korea and since the United States has so many allies itself, it's close allies and even some distant will see the need to exterminate the threat. With Korea having limited at best allies, their chances of actually winning the war is slim to none. So basically, if they do decide to do anything rash like target the surrounding countries, they'd be metaphorically committing suicide.

North Korea has no back up in this situation. China no longer wants anything to do with them, They're completely alone in a world of super powers. Even if they managed to launch nuclear missile(s) most of us have missile defense protocols and they would be disabled over the ocean. We would invade, The "Alliance" would invade.

Or simply put, they may become a modern day Atlantis.

Before you know it North and South Korea, may just become "Korea" full of Gangnam style videos and For once happy civilians. But I do not for see any type of WWIII emerging from this as nobody wants to take the side of the underdog. Besides they all have bigger agendas like controlling all the oil in the world and stuff.

they are just flexing their muscles now that they 'have' nukes, trying to show how they are powerful to their people, and trying to be even more noticed in the world via threats which they will never actually act on... They know how serious it is and what would happen if it came to it. Nothing will happen in my opinion.

Uk :)

My opinion is  Korea has two option / outcomes either the dude has to go through it and gets stomped because lets be honest if they tried anything they are going to get stomped. Or he backs out and shows that he is a terrible leader and a weak nations. Either way he loses, even china is like wow dude ur crossing the line.

North Korea is just crying for some attention.

I saw someone try to say that the korea buy wasnt in the wrong they said hes doing this to stop the embargos on his country. Im like how does that make sense
