In EOC Runescape I would use the calculator from ScapeXP.  It would calculate what items I could merch for profit.  Right now they have an option to "use old school prices" but whenever I click on it everything just becomes undefined and it doesn't work.  Anybody know of a working calc I could use?  Been wanting to get 85 mage but the only way I will do that is if I make profit/don't loose a ton :)

You can't make money from alching. 

 

I alched magic/yew/maple longbows to 94. I lost about 15m.

yeah you can. I did it on rs3.

 

edit: for example atm you can make 4k off each rune battleaxe you alch

its not exactly easy to find bulk battleaxes.

yeah I know that was just one item I looked up quick. i'm wondering if there are others that I could buy in bulk.
