If you're botting on your main, monitor it. They check the amount of quests you have done, total level, and time spent, and how much you have talked. It's weird, but I keep those tactics in mind and I have never gotten banned. Botted 2 99's.

Source?

I have never been banned on my main, but since it is my main I like to play it safe by using breaks and not botting overnight.

I think mains don't get banned much isn't because of your quest points or other shit you kids have been saying, it's because Jagex targets goldfarmers. So unless you got your main picking flax or something like that you're a little bot safer.

got caught botting only got temp ban and i only got caught as i botted 30hours at catherby, botting on the same account have 1700+ total =)

yea my main was banned back in 09-10 , i was getting 99 wc and ran it over night and got banned as soon as i got 98 wc :/

I honestly don't think that's true. I never talk to anyone even if I play the game legit I don't interact with others unless I'm buying/selling.

OT- The only time my main got banned was when they did the mass ban wave for dungeoneering bots at the start of 2013 (already got max cape at that point without being banned) Have been botting my main on osrs since I created my osbot account without being banned lol.

I recently received a ban two days ago for simply being logged into a bot client and I guess being on their radar. I received a Bot Busting Ban.

All about looks, and how smart you bot.

More xp/hr, more attention is bad.

I bot now, using more breaks than playing time and let it run 24/7, never had a problem.

Mind you my spot is virtually unfound, I haven't seen anyone here in over 2 months.

I've been botting 18/7 without breaks this entire week on my main and no bans (skilling and combat) I've heard a lot of people on proxies getting banned and I'm beginning to think that's the problem. I mean, I've also been banned before for botting last year (stupid mistake of deciding on botting catherby yews) and I haven't had any offences so far and still botting on the same IP. Unless you are a gold farmer, I don't believe you should use proxies and especially on your main.
