Hey guys I am a casual player with a main account that i've been putting a bit of time into.  I love skilling (botting counts as love right?)  and I aim to get good all around stats for questing and etc.  I recently decided I wanted to work on ranging, which means making iron knives, which means mining iron, which also means mining gems, and gold (for rings of forging). 

 

TLDR - Have gems, lots of all types.  What to make for profit and why?  (for each gem)

 

Sapphire- ring of recoil or games neck

Emerald - ... etc.

 

I am using rubies for rings of recoils.

 

Also Jades/Topaz/Opals what to do?   Make worthless bolt tips?

 

AND where on earth is best place to mine gold I can't seem to find a good spot.

For gold ore....You can mine them inside tzhaar beside a bank...There r 4 ores or something there

Emeralds - duelling rings

Rubies - strength ammies / rings of forging if you need those

Diamonds - rings of life for yourself - phoenix necklaces for pking - power ammies to sell

 

Mining gold: crafting guild. Maybe with balloons or use duelling rings and Rimmington house portal.

So you you want to work on crafting of range?

 

 

You won't need that many rings of forging compared to the amount of iron ore you smelt. You need about 7-8 rings per 1k ore; making the rings yourself is a waste of time.

I know I just took this as an opportunity to work on my crafting levels :P  And I meant my combat range level.  But I guess im doing crafting for now lol. 

 

Thanks for the advice guys!!  Booch i absoluetly loved your gem cutter, but you might want to add somethign that makes the bot close when there are no more gems.  Otherwise it just sits there and scrolls up endlessly.

 

And tzhar pits I will definitely give a try.  (:

 

And thanks for the feedback on what jewelry to craft with the gems!! I had no idea what was in higher demand or what would be a waste.
