Guys are you serious? this guy just tried to phish and you all believe him cause he uses the excuse that he was told it was a grand exchange poll? shouldn't this kid be banned already.

probably not a bot busting, but maybe an announcement of their so called "new bot technology" that is basically the same bot detection, but announced it to scare us.

should i stop boting today ?do you guys think there will be uptate today?because i dont wanna get banned again:S

why do people think when a new system is added that it will no longer be effective after 24hr/48hr/xweeks lol. When new technology is added it is permanent, not a temporary lets add this and ban a couple people then turn it off for some weeks.

They're transferring people who they think are bots into a  special world.

"we have developed a system which will transfer a character that we think might be a bot to a special world where we can monitor them much more closely without causing any unnecessary disruption to honest players’ game play."

We'll implement something to recognise the 'new world'.

People will just have to babysit bots more often to reply back to other players.

Solution: Make bot ineffcient when in special world and start osbot response service which allows a real person to respond to players. Problem solved :p

it would make writing antibots much much easier, but still i trully believe its total bullshit because they would have to hire 200 people staff just to watch 10k bots on osrs. And eventually after some time of  baning bots they will be spending more $ on HR than legit nolifers are bringing biggrin.png. They need ~50 paid accounts per day to keep 1 bot buster, not talking about devs (~100 acc/day) and other stuff, so keeping botters in business is much more profitable. According to jagex blogs they do ~2000-2500acc/day on osrs, so they can handle no more than 5-7 bot busters excluding dev team otherwise osrs will be financially draging down jagex.
