The Online / Offline can only be toggled by an Administrator, which is who we have to wait on. Perhaps a Super Moderator could be given these permissions in the future?

 

I don't agree at all with having a restriction on speech if the count is above 40. We reach this sometimes even when the bot is online. The chatbox is meant for chat, there's no reason to take that away from people.

 

As for the announcements, it's been suggested before, but I don't think there is a mod / plugin for this type of chatbox. It'd be nice if there was though.
