With the recent mass bannings I've retired from botting for now. I sold the account I was farming on but will my ip still be tainted in the event that account gets a late ban? Would you recommend I take any precautions prior to me logging back into my main? Clear my cache or anything that would limit/reduce any possibility of my legit account being banned.

If you haven't been banned in the past then I don't think you will encounter a problem, also you can really take no precautions to make sure they do not ban your main by clearing your cache etc. Everything regarding bans is situational so it is tough to say whether you will be banned or not. From hearing your story though, I think you'll be fine.
