Client forcequits after new update

Featured Replies

Hiya,

Before this weeks update it could run for 20+ hours. But after this weeks update (and therefore the client "fix") my bot can't seem to run for longer then 1-2hours before crashing/forcequiting. The client is the only one running on it and I dont think my laptop is at fault cause it can run WoW smoothly etc.

Aby idea if this will be fixed?

Its something to do with memory leaking or your CPU being overloaded i believe - however don't take my word for it :)

The client currently has a memory / CPU leak; and combined with the possibility of incompatible specs of your computer for the client, the client is crashing as a result.

This should all be patched up in OSBot 2, however for now I suggest you have no other programs open while you bot and ensure you use the "Low CPU" option.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

No do not use the ''Low CPU'' option this will make your client extremely laggy you should be able to run atleast 1 bot on a normal spec computer and therefor there is no need for the option.

I'm having the same problem, is there any actual way to fix it or will we have to just wait for osbot 2? Low CPU doesn't help.

If it's not related to your cpu/ram being insufficient then you can't fix it sorry.

It only happened just AFTER this weeks update, before that it was all ok. I've run bots for a long time, but after this update its no longer possible @ my laptop. On my PC I can still do it tho.

But it's just weird that it happened all of a sudden, while being ok for quite a long time...

You'll most likely just have to continue to do the best you can with it. :(

There's nothing further we can do until the OSBot developers fix it in the new updated client.

Ok ^_^ Guess I just won't bot overnight anymore, cause my PC makes a truckload of noise haha ^_^

Thanks anyways.

We're all experiencing the same problem it seems. Also there is no ETA on the next client update but I am sure it will come soon enough. ^_^

Well aren't you a bundle of help/optimism. It never happened before this week. I'll have to wait until the update I suppose.
