FPS From Low CPU Toggle

Featured Replies

Is there any way to manually edit the decreased amount of FPS that's given to each client after toggling the Low CPU option? I'd really like to be able to edit it accordingly. Not toggling just kills the CPU usage but leaving it toggled (in my specific situation) is really making the game lag horribly.

Sorry. Not sure where this should go other than here.

The 'Low CPU' option will seem like it is lagging the game by making the frames appear slower, but in all actuality it is playing at the normal rate.

I don't think so the 'Low CPU' option reduces performance I have seen it happen alot.

The point of 'Low CPU' is to drop the frame rate significantly so that you have enough CPU to run more bots. The performance is usually not hindered unless you run too many bots for your computer to handle even on the Low CPU configuration. :p

I see it going to like 5-10 fps even just using 1 client but maybe that's just me and my computer specs are pretty good.

Being able to manually change it to a some what higher FPS would allow for gameplay + lag unless I'm missing something. Depending on the environment you're running in, I believe those few additional fps could drop your CPU significantly lower & allow for more stability.

Thanks for all of the helpful posts everybody. I'll just figure something else out.

Its supposed to as rs07 specifically (rare scenario) can operate at a low fps functionally but bare minimum isn't always good.
