Im not entirely sure whether this is a bug or if I'm misunderstanding the purpose of the method

currently the method does NOT close open right-click menus

it does NOT close any open skill/bank/report/dialogue interfaces

 

Infact I have not yet run into any type of interface that this method reacted to; Perhaps it could be updated/Improved?
