I've never used a Windows laptop that had a decent track pad. I really enjoy the Mac operating system. Also, Apple's support is amazing. That being said, I prefer Windows for desktop Mac for laptop.

Windows makes track pads? That's more about the seller than the OS...

I have a HP and I don't have a problem with my mousepad.

Windows is great, Mac is sexy.

Mac's are overpriced.

But the OS is sexy.

I guess. That's basically what you're paying so much for, then you pay for every update afterwards.

The only reason I would ever suggest for someone to get a mac is when they constantly infect their pc with viruses and spyware because they go to every questionable site online. Or they fall for the old "delete system 32 stuff."

Basically the same people who drive a car and never change the oil in it and when the car fails they say "I din't know I had to change the oil."

I've been using windows my whole life and have never had a problem that wasn't caused by hardware failure or by allowing someone else to use my computer.

It's all about dem interweb street smarts.

What I hate is when people tell me they get a Mac because Mac's can't get infected while Windows can.

I facepalm so hard it's not even funny.

Ignorance is bliss, though. But yeah, I totally agree with you. Mac, by default, comes with shitty hardware. You'll need to upgrade just about everything to have a somewhat decent PC and those upgrades will kill your wallet.

I used to dual boot linux and windows about 5 years ago, windows exclusively now though.
